Varun Official is only responsible for riders who purchase from the Varun Official website. We have many authorized dealers who sell Varun electric bicycles on platforms such as Amazon and eBay. If you purchased from them, please contact them directly.

VARUN Limited Warranty Terms

This Limited Warranty is issued by VARUN and is effective as of July 1, 2019 . It applies only to products sold on the official VARUN website (varunebike.com). Other methods of purchasing VARUN electric bikes (Amazon, offline dealers, Walmart, etc.) apply the appropriate warranty policy.


 


For the original purchaser

We offer a 1-year warranty on every VARUN electric bike, excluding all wear and tear items. The warranty period starts from the date of receipt of the bike.


For subsequent owners

We provide a 1-year warranty for each VARUN e-bike, excluding all wear and tear items. Subsequent owners should provide proof of original purchase (original owner's name and original order number). The warranty period will still run from the date the bike was received by the original owner.


Caution: 


“Original purchaser” means purchasing the e-bike directly from the official VARUN website. “Subsequent owner” means the second or subsequent owner of the e-bike.

If replacement bike parts, accessories or even a replacement bike is required, we may charge a shipping fee. Please contact our customer service team for assistance.

 


Worn items

“Wear and tear” refers to unavoidable damage that occurs naturally during normal riding. This warranty policy does not cover wear and tear items. Below is a non-exhaustive list of other typical wear and tear items that are not covered by the warranty:


Tires

Bearings

Brake pads

Chains

Free Hub Body

Handlebars

Rubber moving parts

Shifters, brake lines and housings

Spokes

Sprockets

Stripped threads/bolts

Tools

Transmission gears


Uncovered Conditions

This warranty is void under the following conditions and does not apply to damage caused by any of the following:


Improper assembly or installation.

Collision, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance or other abnormal, excessive or improper use.

Corrosion.

Improper modification or installation of components, parts or accessories that are not original to or compatible with the VARUN product.

Failure to perform maintenance or servicing at appropriate intervals in accordance with the written instructions supplied with the product.
